As we continue to expand across Australia, Europe, and the US, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to assist our team as a contractor, while the incumbent is on mat.leave. What You'll Do
As a QA Engineer at Whispli, you will:
- Collaborate with our development and product teams to ensure our products are reliable and user-friendly.
- Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for our web and mobile platforms.
- Perform regression testing and monitor product performance across various environments.
- Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements to the development team.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, ideally within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- Strong experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and frameworks.
- A solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (including manual and automated testing).
- Familiarity with API testing, preferably using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium).
- Familiarity with containerised environments such as Docker or Kubernetes.
